Russians’ power debt by 26% in Jan–Feb to 79 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- The combined debt of Russians grew by 25.6% on the year to 78.6 billion rubles in January–March, First Deputy CEO of the Center of Financial Calculations (CFR) Dmitry Chernov said in a presentation on Wednesday.
Since January 1, the debt grew by 18%. Total debt on the retail power market amounted to 359.6 billion rubles as of the end of February, a 16% increase on the year. Chernov said that all groups of power consumers lag in their payments as compared with the same period of 2020.
At the same time, debts on the wholesale power market increased by 100 billion rubles in January–March, he said.
